Reporting Internships

Thank you for your interest in Journal Star reporting internships. These are available in spring, summer and fall to qualified applicants.

The qualifications are:

• You must be a senior, graduate student or recent graduate
• You must have a "B" average in journalism courses
• You must submit a packet including a cover letter, resume, samples of your work and references to the city editor, Journal Star, 1 News Plaza, Peoria, IL 61643, before the deadlines outlined below.

The deadlines are Feb. 15 for a summer internship, July 30 for a fall internship and Nov. 30 for a spring internship.

Journal Star internships are paid positions. Our interns are working reporters who must have a car.
